Lymphoma of the ileum.

The patient presented with a left inguinal hernia. At surgery, the hernial sac was found to contain ascitic fluid. A subsequent SBE shows a 16cm stricture of ileum with fissure ulceration remarkably similar to Crohn's disease. There is also marked deformity of an adjacent loop of small bowel. Laparotomy confirmed an extensive small-bowel tumour and histology confirmed lymphoma.
