fiogf49gjkf0d Dr Martin Freeman is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Minnesota and a gastroenterologist at Hennepin County Medical Center and the Fairview University Hospital in Minneapolis.
His practice centers on management of patients with complex pancreatic and biliary diseases and primarily involves ERCP. He is actively involved in training fellows in advanced procedures and methods of clinical research. His research interests include development of new techniques and approaches to pancreaticobiliary diseases, techniques and outcomes of ERCP, and gastrointestinal bleeding.
Dr Freeman has published a number of original investigations including a large multicenter study of complications of endoscopic biliary sphincterotomy. He participates in numerous national and international conferences on therapeutic endoscopy, and helped develop the concept for and edit the proceedings of the recent NIH consensus conference on ERCP.
